POINT BLANK MUSIC SCHOOL

UK Acoustic Systems were contracted by Parkeray to provide an acoustic flooring solution for an expansion at the London campus of Point Blank Music School, a prestigious award-winning music school. With the likes of Leona Lewis, Goldie, Aluna francis and Felix Jaehn attending the school in the past.

Being set 123 m2 of acoustic flooring within the studios, we installed our UKAS Cradle and Batten System. As this system provides an exceptional reduction in both impact and airborne noise. The Cradle & Batten also created a void for the underfloor applications, such as their cables for the studio booths.

Acoustics are paramount in any educational environment, in order to maximise concentration and learning, this environment was no exception, although it did have the additional need of requiring a product to isolate the room to prevent noise leakage/ inflow of noise between the music production rooms. So we had to ensure we could provide the best acoustical flooring system possible, to prevent such from happening.

For this project, the UKAS Cradle & Batten scored success. After the quick turnaround from start to finish, our system proved its capabilities, with minimal disruption to the occupied booths in the surrounding areas.
