Owned by Warner Leisure, Alvaston Hall Hotel is a luxurious half-timbered Victorian Country House in rural Cheshire. It was recently announced that a £12.5 million investment into their existing properties would be undertaken, the largest redevelopment in Warner Leisure history. Already boasting high quality leisure facilities such as a swimming pool, golf course and archery centre, as well as spa treatments, Alvaston Hall Hotel leapt at the chance of installing high quality specification acoustic flooring to maximise the guest’s overnight stay and overall experience.

UK Acoustic Systems initially started the project on behalf of Unitek Timber Frame Systems and suggested the slim-line 28mm Knauf Brio 18WF high density floor system, due to its high acoustic performance and minimal construction height. The project required the installation of approximately 3,000m2 of acoustic flooring, but part way through the contract Unitek sadly experienced financial hardship, putting the entire redevelopment at risk with massive implications for the Warner Hotel group’s revenue.

To meet the Hotel deadlines, UK Acoustic Systems took on the project directly with Pochin PLC the Main Contractor for the project, and ensured the development met its key milestones and the installation was completed within the works programme.
